Hi be basically wanting to ask if anyone have be diagnosed near cancer..?
and what were your first symptoms and how did they eventually diagnosis..please make available as much info as poss..thank..Im doing this as part of research into feminine cancer's x
Answers: I was diagnosed near NH Lymphoma a little over 3 years ago. The just reason we found it be because my leg swelled up.and then the swelling continued adjectives the way up my leg and into my tummy on the right side only. A CT scan showed that I have enlarged lymphnodes all thru my body and one contained by my groin, on the right side, was so ample, that it was cause the swelling. The doctor estimated that I had the cancer for at most minuscule 3-5 years before it be found. I had no other symptoms, prior to the swelling.
Breast cancer.
I be diagnosed first in Oct 2004. I found a lump within my breast and knew it be new. So, I go to my gynecologist for a breast exam and they sent me to a specialist who did a mammogram, ultrasound and exam. Then they decided to do a biopsy of the lump. The lump be determined to be cancerous.
At the time I had the lump removed and did radiation psychiatric help.
Three years later - within 2007 - as part of my follow up thoroughness my surgeon suggested an MRI of my breasts. On the MRI there be another small lump that my radiologist was worried nearly. So, I had another biopsy and again it be cancer.
This time I had a mastectomy and am following up next to a naturopathic doctor and medical oncologist to treat the cancer.
hubby was diagnosed beside skin cancer, had it cut out is ok in a minute. NO ITS NOT A LAUGHING MATTER AM DISQUISTED BY SOME PEOPLE ON HERE.
Breast cancer.
I found a lump last July. Went to my doctor who referred me to a surgeon for a biopsy. She sent me for a CT scan as economically as a mammogram and scheduled the biopsy. After the results come back I be referred to Ireland Cancer Center. I just finished 6 doses of chemo and am going stern to the surgeon to have a lumpectomy.
My wife and I be at our recreational lot and our daughter-in-law said, "Mom, what is that lump on your neck?" She go to her family doctor and he sent her for a FNA (fine hypodermic aspiration?). It showed cancer. Scans and such revealed thyroid cancer.
Surgeries, chemical radiation, beam radiation, and chemotherapy over a three year spell. The tumor removal destroyed the vocal impertinence and had a serious impact on breathing and speech for the remainder of her vivacity.
As the tumor metastized to other parts of her body including her brain, she developed issues with double delusion and swallowing. Since she could not swallow, she had a feed tube surgically installed and was tube feed for the last 14 months of her vivacity.
Finally the brain tumors took her life.
Breast cancer
No relatives history, absolute able-bodied lifestyle. Always exercised. Had my kids young...no risk factor.
My left breast grew larger,I thought I be gaining freight. I felt tingles, chance zings, tiny pain and in recent times thought it was hormones.
Went for my first ever screening mammo, be shocked to get a send for back.
Went for more films, radiologist name my films birad 5, I sent them to a cancer hospital near me for a second judgment and they down graded it to a birad 4. Went for a biopsy at Sloan Kettering surrounded by NYC and they told me right then it be early stage breast cancer.
No palpable lump(s). Turned out 3 cancerous lumps be in awfully deep almost to the chest wall. They be fast growing. That screening mammo save my life, say my doctors.
Needed a single mast, opt for a double. Turned out there be precancer brewing in the other one.
Did 6 months of chemo. Very miserable for me. terminated up with some long possession problems from it that I'm hoping healthy lifestyle and diet will resolve. Now doing 5 years of tamoxifen and am considering switching to a more innate supplement like DimPlus or Brevail
In doing further research, I found out that my recent history of fibroid tumors should enjoy been a clue to my GYN that my estrogen level were too elevated in my body. If I have known this, I would've looked into ways to decline the levels. Too fruitless traditional doctors don't look at the whole picture.
Breast cancer...first symptom be a lump. Both diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound showed nothing...it took an MRI to see the entity. FNA confirmed cancer, looked invasive, but two core-needle biopsies came up next to DCIS. Surgical oncologist still was not convinced, so have a lumpectomy and SLND. Tumor biopsy said high-grade DCIS with micro-invasion. A few cancer cell were found within the sentinel node, so had full ALND, but nil was found surrounded by the other nodes. Final diagnosis is Stage I DCIS with microinvasion, ER-positive. I be diagnosed with thyroid cancer only over 9 years ago. It began next to a small lump about the size of a pea on the side of my collar which my GP said was only just a lump of gristle. 2 years later the lump have grown to the size of a ping pong ball and I insisted on it individual removed as I was getting really conscious of the size, and my GP finally referred me to hospital and it be removed. Apart from the lump I had no other symptoms. From the lump which turned out to be a lymph gland I be diagnosed with the cancer. I afterwards had to own a an operation to remove all the thyroid and own had a further 2 operation to remove more lymph glands. I also had to own radio Isotope therapy and thank goodness I have very soon been given the adjectives clear, just hold to take thyroxine and calcium tablets for the rest of my time.
I'm a 32 year old womanly, no children, who was diagnosed ending year with leiomyosarcoma of the uterus w/ metastasis to the lungs. Were at hand symptoms? Yes, but at the time I didn't know it could be cancer. I always have extremely painful period, but started to bleed almost every day (was on birth control pills). My Dr. told me that it be nothing, of late fibroids, basically ignore my pain. Last May I go to the ER twice with horrific lower rear pain...be also told in the ER that I have huge uterine fibroids. I was given aching meds and released. Finally I couldn't take the dull pain anymore and went to a different ER. Lucky for me this Dr. know something was incredibly wrong and sent me to a NYC hospital. I spent almost the entire month of June in the hospital (one month in the past my wedding) undergoing two surgeries, lots of test, PET scans, MRI's, Ultrasounds etc. The Dr. within saw my tumor markers be ridiculously high and sent biopsies to the pathologist who diagnosed the cancer. I am on chemo presently to shrink the uterus (hopefully) and eventually get a hysterectomy. I be lol they cut a chunk out of my leg now i'm fine..
