They sure can!! But the chances are more unlikely. About 1% of breast cancer patients are men. So although intermittent it is possible. There chances of survival/recovery are also alot smaller amount, regular screening is not empasized in males and it is normally diagnosed too late. Yes, males can return with breast cancer.

However you are totally protected from Ovarian cancer, cervical cancer or cancer of the uterus.
Just as women are safe from prostate cancer, testicular cancer and penile cancer.
