How to cope next to symptoms of thorasic outlet syndrome?
I have have my first rib removed. I have used a tens electrical device, had physio, acupuncture, botox, roast treatments and massage. Nothing seem to help. If anyone have any tips to help relieve my symptoms i will be eternally grateful. I enjoy arm aching and mass, a spastic thumb (lots of cramp) and a tightness on the side of my neck. I also suffer pins and needles from time to time.
Answers: resourcefully aplying pressure usualy works well for relieving dull pain and if you stick with the physio it should find better over time, also hot water(bath) workes great for pains like these
I know this may nouns like a stupid give somebody the third degree, but have you tried simple painkillers close to paracetamol, ibuprofen or co-codamol?
If pain is severe, your GP can prescribe things resembling codeine or tramadol, which are opiate based painkillers.
