Yes, I spoke with a plastic surgeon on deformity reduction surgery and it take a few small surgery's to remove scar tissue but it works. Most hulking deep scar are made because of too much tissue was removed at one time and when you hold a few smaller incisions done to remove that scar tissue it heal nicely. Scar let-up surgery, either incision or laser both work.

If it's for acne scar dermabrasion or laser surgery will do the job.

There are forms of laser surgery that can do age spots and skin discolorations. If you are discussion about Kielliods (sp?) I don't ponder there is much you can do.

There are but back that, if they are like acne scar then I suggest you try out vitamin e grease or peel creams instead of resorting to surgery. Not to burst your bubble but surgeries are risky.
