I own no tonsils, is it strep throat?
I believe that I have strep throat, but since it is Saturday and the doctor isn't pay for in until Monday, I enjoy no real route of knowing. I had my tonsils removed contained by 2002 and I used to get strep on a regular idea (2 or 3 times a year) and now that i don't hold them, I don't have my tonsils as an indicator for strep. Here are my symptoms:
-Severe sore throat that come on over night
-cold symptoms (sinus discomfort, stuffed/runny nose, gunky eyes, easier said than done to hear)
-No fever (yet) but emotion feverish (temperature pitch, goosebumps)
-Tongue is white and bumpy on the exceedingly back of it and closely resembles the bumps you bring back on your tonsils from strep. (but could or couldn't be strep)
If it isn't strep, what else could it be?
Answers: Sounds like strep!
Hope you touch better!
The bumps on the back of the tongue is a sure sign of strep.
Sounds resembling strep to me, too. Feel better! Whether or not you have tonsils do not determine if you hold strep. As an adult you are smaller number likely to hold it, but still possible. There may be a convenience care clinic that you could turn to for a strep test, if you do not want to hang about until Monday. They are in some pharmacies immediately.
it could be a viral infection or a mild streptococcal sore throat.
tonsillectomy does not protect from sore throat. sure sounds like your sick to me
strep throat symptoms yes but the infection isnt too bleak if you were drinking and smoking ultimate night this is a typical side effect the subsequent day
