Plz i call for to know this...would someone answer me?
i was born beside cystic hygroma in the collar which even effected my respiratory system and i did various operations..iam 20 years dated now and iam fine...as you would expect i have scar on my neck and stuff cuz of the operation but iam fine and i breath normally very soon...the doctor checked me for other genetic syndromes but i didn't have any luckily, my mom doesn't drink alcohol at adjectives and she wasn't infected by a virus at the time she was pregnant by me or anythin so.what could own caused cystic hygroma to me?? i know it's cause by abnormal nouns of lymphatic system but what caused it? as i said...i don't own any other syndrome, my mom doesn't drink alcohol and didn't have any virus at time of pregnancy and also none of the familial had cystic hygroma in the past.can someone tell me plz what cause it for me?

Cystic hygroma is a birth irregularity. This means that when you be in the womb, something did not run right. It does not mean that your mother drank or did anything wrong.
Basically, cystic hygroma is a chromosomal abnormality that occur randomly during egg or sperm production. It is not adjectives.
Like you said, drinking during pregnancy or your mother having a virus can do this. It can also be a symptom of Noonan's syndrome, which you said you don't have. It can also own an unknown cause, which is probably what happen with you. More than possible it was merely a problem with any the sperm and/or egg that created you.
