Eyes are turning black and blue adjectives by itself.?
Has anyone had this surface. My father is 60 yrs old and for going on for the last 6 mths the skinaround his eyes turn black and blue and remarkably red and sometimes it bleeds for no reason. His doc have no idea. Just wondering if this have ever happened to you.
Answers: I agree next to "fresh.." ..blood thinners can cause bleeding of late under the skin anywhere on the body. Is he taking aspirin? That also is a blood thinner. I've never see the eyes bleed, but I would imagine it could evolve. Is he diabetic..? I've had several corrective lasers done to my eyes due to small blood vessel leaking because I'm diabetic. I would say aloud try another doctor since his has no model..!
is he on blood thinners?
That would be the first thing I wonder.
especially if he bruises slickly.
Otherwise, he needs a CBC (blood test) done
Ugh, you really should change doctors! Because if a doctor cant figure something out after going to university to get a Doctorate surrounded by...then thats something wrong. Change doctors back ur dad goes through something go threatening and the doctors just approaching "Well I dunno, I dunno"..it amazes me how some people can answer your request for information thoroughly(from YA) better than a doctor can... hmm... He needs to see a eye specialist instead of an eye doctor. Eye doctor's can simply do so much. But I am guessing an eye specialist would run tests and be capable of help him.
Does he wear goggles? It could be allergic reaction, to the eyeglasses, but i really don't think so,,,, if he wear glasses, and he is on blood thinners, consequently it could be from the pressure of his glasses cause the bruising, He needs pt and ptt level done.. It sounds like also that he have got some thoughtful of irritation of the surrounding tissues around the eye, he needs to see a eye specialist,,,,asap. Hope this help you
