Does anyone know a polite alternative to Lexapro?
I am currently taking Lexapro with a combination of other drugs for complications from West Nile encephalitis. The problem is Lexapro cost $40 a month. When added next to the cost of the other medications, psychoanalysis and bi-monthly visits to a West Nile specialist, $40 is profoundly. I need a smaller quantity expensive version of this medication that will enjoy the same effects. By the instrument, it is mosquito season...wear protection. West Nile sucks. I was infected within November 2006. I live in southern MS and mosquitoes are doomed to failure most of the year. Being 29 at the time, literally saved my vivacity. I have suffered but not nearly as discouraging as many others that enjoy been struck beside this virus. Please be careful.
Answers: Call the pharmacy and ask the price of Paxil, Prozac, Wellbutrin, Zoloft and find out which one is cheaper and later call you doctor and ask him if this medication would work for you instead of the Lexapro and if he could prescribe it for you.
You can attain zoloft generic at WalMart for $4 (I believe for 50 mg). You might check it out. DO NOT change your meds on your own!!
