Is it true that someone near diabetes and taking insulin cannot lose counterweight, save afterwards what should they do.?

Answers:    It is down right hard to loose the counterbalance!! My doctor who put me on insulin was a total idiot! I am type 2 and be having an almost impossible time getting any control on glucose level. So she told me to take 38 unit of lantus insulin every night. No titrating up the unit to where I get good control, NO!! So my body puffed resembling a sponge put in a bowl of reheat water!! And afterwards she yelled at me for getting overweight contained by like 6 months! But still insisted that I must verbs with the 38 unit.

I started not taking the injections, weight go down a bit but glucose control was not nearby. So on my own I started working out how much I needed to take to stay even with glucose and not gain any more bulk. I am stable now at 20 unit, 100 average glucose, and 169 pounds at 5'4" which is way more than I would prefer.

I own a new doctor in a minute who agrees with my taking single enough insulin to control the glucose level. Her answer to how I can lose some weight is "Everyone gain some as they get elder! Live with it!"

I did not similar to being at 115 pounds, but I resembling the 169 even less.

Must enjoy a doctor to work with who understand your needs!! Must whip only as much insulins as needed for pious control. Must eat really low carb count. Must exercise like a demon every morning to maintain where on earth you are!!
Umm, No. It is not impossible to lose weight, it can lately be a little harder. I hold a hard time losing weightiness, but I can lose it. You just obligation to exercise, eat fighting fit, and keep your sugars down. I am a type one diabetic and I gain weight after I be put on Insulin, but this is because my body started storing calories correctly. But like I said, it is not impossible to lose weightiness. Yes you can lose weight, it's only a lot harder because of the insulin. A strict diet and exercise help a lot. It's how I do it. I be diagnosed 13 years ago. I take insulin and I weigh 103. I'm 5'. So my counterbalance is good for my point. You just really hold to watch your diet and do some walking every afternoon or some sort of exercise where you are involved for at lease 30 minutes. Watch those carbs! I just asked a press very similar to yours a few hours ago.
Exercise. I own been a type 1 diabetic since I be a 1 year old... I am presently 21... I take 24 unit of lantus at night, and I rob diffrent amounts of humalog during the day, depending on how much I devour. I weigh 140 pounds, I am a male and I am 5'6. Insulin have never made me gain weight contained by my life. I enjoy had six pack abs since i be a freshman in highschool. I exercise almost everyday, and I heave wieghts every other day. I am trying to gain more muscle bulk, and it is not easy. I gain more strength, but my cargo is slowly going up. When I don't lift weights, I lose solidity. Everyone is different, I have never not be able to lose substance.
Honestly, insulin works different for every diabetic. Some people gain counterbalance, some people lose counterbalance. All depends on the person. I am type 1 for 37 years. I gain a good bit of cargo when I got pregnant. I go from 118lbs to 165. I stayed 165lbs until I got my insulin pump. Shortly after I get the pump the weight started coming rotten, slowly. Seven years on the pump and I'm down to 108lbs. The pump help keep going better control but allows you to eat doesn`t matter what you want as long as you can count the carbs. Before I got the pump i be taking 80 units of a mix of NPH and Regular insulin on a daily basis. Now I average 25 units of Humalog. The pump really make a huge difference in the time of a type 1 diabetic.
i don't know where you hear that. i'm type 1 i'm taking insulin, and i can easliyloose weight promptly by doing sports, when ever i can i swimfor 2 hours, and ski is good i did 5 hours this weekend particularly good sport, and also ping pong is not discouraging, i lost 3 kilos in 2 weeks(i trained 2 hours a sunshine, and 4-5 hours on sunday). so you can loose weight, its not impossible
