Also drink plenty of fluids. I would recommend hot tea such as Chamomile.
You can also use warm saline water to gargle (ear/nose/throat are adjectives connected) whenever you feel congested. If that doesn't work, ask your doctor for Nasonex or saline proboscis drops.
