Soreness within Ribs after Cancer Radiation?

In 2005 I had Radiation treatment for Breast Cancer. I give the impression of being to be healing fine, and adjectives my check-ups are fine.
But in December 2006, I caught my first bleak cold which went into bronchitis - doomed to failure coughing.
Ever since then, my rib round up has be sore. My doctor took a chest xray to see if I had cracked a rib, but it showed everything be normal. He said it take a long time for the muscles to heal from adjectives the coughing, and told me to take extra calcium.
Anyone own any idea what is going on ? How long am I going to be sore resembling this ? Anything else that I can do to feel better ?

Answer:
Your doctor answered your sound out for you. When you have a serious travel case of bronchitis, the coughing can be extremely violent. Those muscles that support and work your lungs capture strained and they can take a worthy while to heal. I follow exactly what you're talking roughly speaking as I've had this condition on numerous occasion. I used to suffer from chronic bronchitis. I moved to Nevada and the desert seemed to clear that chronic condition right up. A muscle relaxer would help out you a ton, if the doctor should prescribe it.

ps: Congratulations on the remission of your breast cancer. I just have a bone marrow transplant after 2 rounds of cancer. Whoop! Hang in in attendance! =)
Some Yoga therapy would be non-hazardous, but profitable! Esp. with breathing exercise beneath guidance!
I had breast cancer and radiation too, and if I remember right they said that the rads can brand your bones brittle. That might be the case.
