How do they know _before_ it happen?
WASHINGTON - Next year's flu vaccine is getting a complete overhaul to provide protection against three new and different influenza strains — hopefully better protection than this year's publication. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080221/ap_o...
How do they know WHICH strain of influenza will happen formerly it happens? Is the WHO annually releasing this virus next crying that the 'epidemic' must be halted by selling 'flu shots'?
Answers: They don't know for sure which ones will be the problems subsequent year. They look at how many populace have be getting sick with what strains and what is unusual, etc and guess the best they can. The flu virus mutates easily, resembling colds, but unfortuneatly make us much sicker than the colds do. It would be almost impossible for them to formulate one and have it out here faster or worse than nature already does.
It's a guess, adjectives, but still a guess. they don't KNOW for sure that it's going to happen but they are taking steps to insure that it won't become global if it does. Just the black death, don't you have an idea that lives would have be saved if they have known it could come and have a vaccine for it? It's just preparation..
