Do I want to throw away stuffed animals that own mold on them?

I am getting ready to move and I cleaned out my closet to find that one wall have two huge patches of blackish, green, spotty washed out mold. It is on down blankets, stuffed animals, clothes, and other blankets. What should I do? Throw it all away? Help!

Answers:    Unfortunately, yes, you obligation to throw the items away. Mold can be extremely toxic. I also strongly recommend that you wear a mask and gloves when handling the items. Carefully put them within a plastic garbage pouch, dispose. Shower yourself well when finished. You want to stir up the LEAST amount of mold spores and don't want it to catch into your lungs or on anything else. You don't want to carry it to your hot home, either. Remember, you can replace belongings, simply not your health.
umm throw them away thats gross! & un helthy 4 u! you should throw it away. mold can breed you sick if you inhale the spores. plus thats a little gross =/ sorry
i would only just put it all surrounded by the washing apparatus on a hot wash and nouns on the clothes line contained by the sunshine - repeat if still there - if you dont want the items perchance you could wash them and donate to charity? i would throw it adjectives away, but if you want to keep it you can bath your clothes and stuff with tide and 1 cup of bleach within very hot hose down,it should kill the mold.i have to throw away some of my stuff that i had surrounded by my closet because of mold.also if you wash next to bleach you are going to have particularly small orange spots on your clothes and stuff.
I would try to "retrieve them" by taking them to a professional and reputable cleaners ; I am sure that some of these stuffed animals are childhood friends - good luck !
:0) First of adjectives, get a mold inspection pronto. Mold is importantly dangerous and can explanation numerous health problems. Bleach everything, even the walls, and throw away any that might look close to they are badly infected. But definetly go and get an inspector in here. PRONTO. I would say throw everything away. Mold is a significantly infectous fungus and I would say nought that its on can be saved. Try the bleach, but as previously it offers no garuntees.

Sorry to hear that!
Best of luck
Dont listen to them they know nil! Wash in bleach ya know regular amount dont over do it. next HANG moldy things in the SUNSHINE to dry. Sunlight kill the mold. Dryers wont do it . Its the ultra violet rays.
