Cough that get worse at hours of darkness?
This is day number 5. I dont be aware of too bad during the morning, I dont even cough that much. Im tired all daytime, though, probably from not sleeping at night. But the minute I lay down, I start coughing resembling crazy. Sometimes I cough up some yellow stuff, other times, lately a dry cough. Im somewhat congested. I have no confusion, and Ive been reading on the internet more or less bronchitis and such, and it seems resembling if its anything other than viral, I would hold a fever. I dislike intensely going to the dr for them to tell me "Its simply a virus/flu/cold" Anyone have any philosophy how to get rid of the cough? The mucinex I have didnt work, and cough drops dont work. Could it been something that wants antibiotics, even if I dont have a disorientation?

Yeah, I'm afraid I have to agree next to the other answers here. A Dr. visit does seem to be in command. Although I understand your justification for being reluctant to be in motion. It is frustrating to pay to see a doctor lone to hear, "Keep doing what your doing. Drink lots of fluids and call us if things don't revolutionize." Been through that many times. I am other reluctant to see a doctor now. If using an antihistamine (like Benadryl) doesn't support dry up that drainage at night, I would see a doctor. Also, it help to prop your head and shoulders up near pillows as much as possible at night to drain some of that drainage and ease coughing. Best of luck to you my friend. I hope you have a feeling better soon.
oooo I was gonna explain to you mucinex and the orange cough prescription that starts with a "D"...But if thats out of use, you may need to ring the doc cause it could be bronchitis or asthma. Both which get worse at night and is not artificial by any of this over the counter medicine. You will stipulation a round of "the good" cough medicine to relax your lungs and endow with your body time to heal.
if your cough have been going on this long you should call on a doctor. if you dont wanna visit a doctor try rubetussin (if thats how u spell it) it other works for me.
It could be allergies too. You might want to try some of the over the counter allergy meds...
Drink Hot water only- Eat fresh items only- and purloin the doctor given prescribed medicine
i enjoy a problem similar to yourself, although i have suffered this for nearly 1 year, the symptoms are particularly similar. at first i would only cough at hours of darkness and it became really impossible but now that i own left it too long b4 seeing the doctor, i in a minute seem to be coughing morning and night and it is constant and really annoying.
i would recommend that u do see your doctor as soon as possible
It's possible that it's a sinus infection, the drainage normally gives you a mean cough when you lay down to sleep. Especially if you're bringing up colored mucus-that can be a giveaway that it's a sinus infecton. They can be difficult to get rid of, I've have to take 3 courses of different antibiotics to finally bring back rid of one. Please do see a doctor, even if it's viral, he can help alleviate the symptoms, and rule out anything more serious. Your robustness is important!
It could still be bronchitis. If you aren't alert that can turn into walking pneumonia. I had the cough and stuff and be too bullheaded to got the doctor. Turns out I be about a light of day away from ending up contained by the hospital with walking pneumonia. It sounds close to you have tried to steal care of the problem yourself and that you may necessitate something stronger than OTC medicines. You should budge to the doctor to get it checked out. Five days is reasonably a while to be miserable and your health is historic. I hope you get to outlook better soon!
