Am I Allergic to Shrimp?
Whenever I eat shrimp, I instantly catch this unpleasant feeling surrounded by my mouth.. my gums itch realllly badly and my orifice get swollen and it sort of feel like my throat is closing up. Am I allergic?
Answers: Shellfish (like shrimp) is a unprocessed histamine releasers. Histamine's are part of the immune system and can produce allergic reactions. You can clutch an antihistamine pill (like Reactine) before ingestion shrimp, but just to be safe and sound, it's better if you don't eat any shellfish contained by general until you've see your doctor.
Ask your doctor if they can test you for it (patch trialling, blood testing, or skin carrying out tests...patch testing is the most minuscule painful but also the least possible accurate, while blood and skin both require needles) and if you should carry Epinephrine near you, in armour of an emergency.
Note: Be careful drinking strawberries too because they are also histamine releasers.
Well duh. Yes! Lots of ppl are allergic to seafood. Sounds like it! Take some benedryl since you look like a puffer fish!

Probably so. Shellfish is a common food allergy. But please do not a moment ago "take a Benadryl" and hold on to eating them... food allergies can organize to a type of shock, called anaphylaxis which can be energy threatening. Best just to avoid them and not risk it. might be a shellfish aversion or just seafood term. my cousin has indistinguishable thing,he could possibly die if he ate it again.
