My eyelid has a red lump on it which for more or less a week was extremely itchy, consequently it seemed to die down abit consequently yesterday it came up again and its a short time ago red with a white lump on the cease, I can feel the lump on my eye whenever I blink but apart from that it doesn't bother me. (there are no other symptoms)
The doctor be phoned for me yesterday and without seing me prescribed an gel for the treatment of acute bacterial conjunctivitis.

Answers:    Sounds more like a sty than conjunctivitus. You really should see the doctor as the wrong treatment won't do it any favours.
It's sty

but the treatment is matching cream/ointment.

Conjunctivitis is very raw and causes the eye to ooze a jelly like fluid which make the eyelids stick together and can be passed from one person to another by contact - even if you only just rub your eye - it stings and is really uncomfortable.

What you own is a sty
I'd agree a sty. conjunctivitis is hell on earth for your eyes and they swell up, become really tender and crusty. weep a wan discharge and your eyes can be red and it's very contagious. I'd pop into the chemist and agree to the pharmacist have a look. I would voice it's a stye also. I get those sometimes when I wear makeup. Usually turn away on their own. Ugly little things aren't they!
Hi,
Sounds like you own a stye - go to this cooperation:

Anything like that?

The Doctor can prescribe antibiotics for it if it doesn't clear up, but I construe you'll find the eye drops will also work. Whether it be conjunctivitis or a stye, they are both forms of bacteria contained by and around the eye.

Don't worry in the region of it too much, they are very adjectives and usually clear up by themselves.

I know they can be quite irritating, try not to rub it too much, and use plenty of eye drops to moisturise the eye.

Hope this help!
