In short, YES! very adjectives to have insomnia, paricularly near IV steroids, you can have a sort of life rush and feel similar to Superwoman/man - just remember that you're not!, these are highly strong drugs and IV get into your system massively quickly however it can be a few weeks since there is any noticable effect on a relapse, they only speed up the recovery time. Take aid and remember to rest and allow yourself time to adjust tho them.

Well when my wife has have a relapse and has have steroids, she says she feel bloody wonderful but tired. but it depends on how severe the relapse is.

I can't answer the ms part, but hubby have steroids as part of his chemotherapy. He is regularly told to steal dose 1 first thing, dose 2 impulsive afternoon...and none after 4pm - because they will stop him sleeping.
