Answers: My cross-question to you is how serious is the situation? Are you being tested for Addison's disease? This can be slightly serious. I'm including a link to Wikipedia's information on Addison's disease freshly in armour you are looking for information on that. Webmd also has some pious information on Addison's as well (Go to the Health A-Z knit; click on Health A-Z tab rather than checking the adjectives topics tab and scroll way over to the right). The Wikipedia article list potential treatments you might receive for this condition.
I have hypothroidism and am individual treated for it. I've still been attitude tired, though. I did some research and found out that adrenal fatigue can also accompany hypothyroidism, so I go in for trialling. I was simply tested for this two weeks ago and just get the results back yesterday. My doctor run a blood test for DHEA. I also have saliva tests for DHEA and cortisol. I will be starting on a series of supplements - I'm seeing a naturopathic doctor for this fairly than an MD. One of those supplements is DHEA. I will also be taking a supplement that contains some amino acids and herbs to try and draw from the adrenal glands to produce their own cortisol. We'll see how things go.
