My dad have a mri and a cat scan that showed a spot by his adrenal gland they took a biopsy which come up neg,?

if the biopsy is negative but the cat and mri show a spot mwhat does this close-fisted? he just tooka pet scan we progress on monday for the news.the dr be saying that she may lay down chemo. but hey wait wouldnt the biopsy be more aqurite?what does everyone article ? is this bad??

capably a biopsy is basically taking a piece of that spot and examining it. This should be more than conclusive of what it is e.g. if its cancerous etc. But i'm not a doctor so i believe the doctor's landscape should be considered more than mine.
