first of all it come from somewhere else so they need to find it. My husband have tumors in his brain that come from lung cancer. They were treated next to whole brain radiation, gamma stick, and craniotomy surgery. He lost his fight though because surrounded by the end in that was nought they could do.I do know someone who has brain tumors and have lived a long time with them. It depends on where on earth they are in the brain. I will pray for your Mom.

your oncologist should know how to give you adjectives the information that you need .. to be precise what they get compensated for..
if possible try to receive a 2nd opinion..

they are a really great hospital for cancer patients.. one of my family member is going there for his treatment..
