Please does anyone know of a med for diabetic neuropathy that in actual fact works and give some nouns?
I have tried Neurotin ...Lyrica... Anti- depressants and zilch helps. I hold also tried Vicodin and a few other pain relievers but no lend a hand! Please advise next to any kind of lend a hand.

I have lateral neuopathy in both lega and arms but not due to diabetes and I be miserable until I found a good Pain Specialist. I be on the same meds you planned and nothing finally i be put on time release strain meds and they help much better than the short residence ones like vicodin. Most agony spec. have a history contained by anesthesia and are licensed to precribe different meds than doc's that do not deal beside chronic pain. Do not settle for living beside the pain. I am within Illinois near Chicago and hold an awesome doc but their are Pain specialists usually at all chief hospitals. The goal of treating diabetic neuropathy are to prevent progression and reduce the symptoms of the disease. Tight control of glucose is far-reaching to prevent progression. Treatment involves control of hyperglycemia to improve symptoms and prevent complications while minimizing hypoglycemic episodes. Goals for treatment are keep of plasma glucose between 80 and 120 mg/dL (4.4 and 6.7 mmol/L) during the day and between 100 and 140 mg/dL (5.6 and 7.8 mmol/L) at bedtime (as determined by home monitoring and upkeep of HbA1c levels < 7%. Analgesics (pain medications) may work for some patients on a short-term cause. But, in most cases, they usually do not provide much benefit.

I hold peripheral neuropathy contained by all four extremities. I be given Gabapentin. This helps plentifully. However, I also take Oxycodone and Tramadol for backache, and this definitely works. The single thing is that near Oxycodone, it is a narcotic, and can cause addiction. Your doctor can answer these question.
Many people find that Benfotiamine (A cooking oil soluble synthetic form of vitamin B1) helps. Omega 3 EFA and Alpha Lipoic Acid supplements hold also shown promise, as they are anti-inflammatory. You can find all of these at your strength food store or online. I suggest these as none of the current drugs do much except to mask the symptoms of neuropathy for patients, and various have undesired side effects. Some, as you know, hold little to no benefit.
I would give it a try. Also remember to try and save your blood glucose levels surrounded by range and stable as much as possible, as this will amend your symptoms. This is VERY crucial.
To be honest, from what I have see, our current ability to treat neuropathy is fairly dismal using traditional Rx medications.
You can also try alternative therapy such as acupuncture or biofeedback.
It is a very tough to treat condition.
Do you enjoy autoimmune Type 1 diabetes? If so, there might be autoimmunity towards your nerves involved here. If you do hold Type 1, please tell me so I can complicated on additional treatment option.
