Pain beside Pilonidal cyst?
What type of pain is associated near the Pilonidal cyst? I have one and am seeing a surgeon tomorrow however I be just curious something like what others pain be like.mine is not excrutiating at adjectives. In fact it is failry acceptable. The most pain is a discomfort inside. It's more my lower put money on that is sore and mortified. Is that what anyone else has experienced?
They said I also enjoy Staph and Strep in the cyst, which I am on antibiodics for, but I be just curious roughly the pain.
How impossible does it hurt others and what is the pain similar to?
Answer: Wait--pain from the cyst or pain after the surgery? I hold had surgery for a pilonidal cyst and in actuality have another one that have come back (it have been 10 years since the 1st surgery).
Pain for everyone is different next to the cyst. Mine always feel kinda itchy/sore/numb/achey...until it got really big and burst. Then, the backache was pretty impossible because the doctor had to build another incision in it to find the infection to drain before surgery.. It also depends on how you sit. I'm sure when you sit contained by a chair, you are sloping forward so you don't aggravate it.
Because you are a man, and not a woman, I will spare you the whole "the size of the cyst and cramp are worse during a certain time of the month" description.
As you know, here is no cure for a pilonidal cyst except to have it removed surgically.. If you are unsullied to the whole pilonidal infection spectator sport, then yours may not be so bleak right now. But after a year or 2, it may attain worse. So bad, contained by fact, that you may only just chronically drain pus all light of day.
I know a patient that have had his cyst for 13 years and it is in a minute the size of a tennis ball. Poor guy. He is newly in denial that he HAS to hold surgery. He is addicted to painkillers.
EDIT: When you are sick enough of adjectives the pus and draining you will get it removed. Count yourself lucky beside regards to the misery. Some people can't even sit.
