Doctors, is this true?

My gramma said that her doctor said if you chew the inside of your mouth, like biting rotten little pieces of skin, you can get mouth cancer. Is it true?

Answers:
Persistent irritation of a given site MAY head to cancer but by no means sure it will do so. Other factors requirement to be considered such as person's vulnerability to such cancer, length and degree of irritation etc.
I hope this is of assistance.
In time ... yes! You don't have to be a doctor to know that!
I'm not a doctor but I don't suggest so I do it all of the time!
Hi Brooke!

I dont conjecture it does your mouth any good by chewing it . I used to hold a habit of doing that when I be young. Cancer Iam not sure but I dont infer it helps!!
