My friend's husband was within the hospital for a week with an infection of the colon. What could hold caused it and how can it be prevented?

same item happened to me!!! my dr. told me it be from most likely drinking fish!! he said during warm months that we tend to drink more fish (u know we go on time off?) and that some fish can harbor bacteria that exact colon infections! yikes! i literally thought i was ging to die! i be so sick!! now, besides not drinking fish entirely..i make sure adjectives the fish i eat is well-cooked, i put together sure that it is from the ocean..not freshwater fish! and i constrict my intake. freshwater fish r more likely to enjoy come into contact w/contaminates. like catfish for example. hope he get better. it was a long time in the past they figured out the problem for me. i be on a lot of antibiotics for a long time. i have to get 4 days of iv's to relief build my fluids back. it be VERY unpleasant! my advise if u r really worried, in recent times eat fish now and then and do not eat freshwater fish of any brand! (bass, catfish, crappie, etc.)
