What are the probability when a drug user and smoker have quadruple bypass at 52?

My father-in-law is a heroin addict and he is crrently within the hospital to have a quadruple bypass. He is 52 and have been smoking cigaretts since he be 15 I am not sure how long he has be a heroin user. What do you think t he likelihood are he will make it thru the surgrery?

Answers:
oh God...who can predict that? Did you ask his doctor? If he's contained by the hospital he's not using heroine and will go through withdrawal unless they give him something (methadone?) to purloin the edge stale.Pray.pray that he gets another hit and miss to join NA (narcotics anonymous) Pray that his experience will be used to support other addicts catch and stay in recouping. God Bless.
He should make it through surgery, but I don't present him that long to live after. Maybe two to four years at most. The quality of his existence must suck!
First what fool would even do the surgery? He probably won't follow the rules after wards. He'd never survive the anesthesia
