Just started taking Thyroid hormone levothyroxine and other have a feeling hungry.?
Is it common to discern hungry and eat more when taking this hormone. I don't want to gain counterbalance and it is suppose to raise my metabolism, so i should be at lowest possible losing weight. I of late started taking the medicine yesterday and if i don't devour i feel resembling i am light head, anyone else experience these symtoms.
Answers: It's just because your metabolism is working better and faster, your lately not use to having your metabolism work that in haste, so just get through if your hungry because it means your metabolism is already working and making you hungry again since it did it's work. You hold nothing to verbs about.

Ask your doctor for the real hormone replacement-synthroid-levothyroxine sucks! I have my thyroid removed over 15 years ago and I have have no problems except if they prescribe the synthetic hormone levothyroxine. I lose copius amounts of hair and experience tiredness but luckily my mane is thick. what works for one may not work for another though. Mabee you are a short time ago hungry now becouse you aren't too tired to chomp through. low tsh causes tiredness. No one feel like drinking as much when they are tired. Try an exercice regime. It makes you get the impression betrter and will take rotten the extra calories you may be putting on as a result of increased appetite. Sorry bout the bad spelling and typing. Have a yummy morning! I had this when I first started on thyroid medication. Every time I switched brands, I have that symptom again. It is normal. Luckily it lone lasts almost a week or two. Just hang surrounded by there and it will eventually turn away as your body gets used to have hormone.
