How long can Influenza virus live on surfaces such as table and counters, sink handle, etc.?
See question.
Answer:
I am not aware of literature that have studied this in detail, however the common wisdom is "merely for a very few hours". We know that the virus can be kept alive overnight if a collected specimen is kept on rime, but seeing that most surfaces are not "icy" I suspect a few hours is as good an answer as I can afford.
I think in recent times about as long as they can find things to live rotten, so if the surfaces are full of grime and food particles., sugar, skin cell etc then they would remain alive. You call for to clean thoroughly and regularly, and bleach base is especially good for massacre these germs and parasites.
