My dad has other gotten cold sores and once I thought I was getting one he said that what he does when he feel one coming on is he just drinks and drinks ginger juice. It may nouns silly but I didn't want one so I drank a gallon of OJ in sooner or later and that's all I have to drink when I was thirsty the subsequent couple of days and it never fully developed!
