I am SO SICK with a stomach virus (called the nordic or nornic virus). The doc. say there's nothing I can do but tolerate it run its course. I want to sleep SO BAD, but can't due to the body aches and nausea. I took 2 advil juice gels (about 1/2 hour ago), but freshly got a hold of some tylenol pm's. Can I mix the two? I'm desperate, and only want to sleep...

No, wait for going on for another 90 minutes. I know you want to sleep, but don't mix drugs too close together. And don't take any more than 2 of the Tylenol PMs. Taking more will one and only make you really WIRED and afterwards you won't sleep all hours of darkness.

I would hold off roughly 2 hours before taking another throbbing reliever like Tylenol PM. Just to be past the worst.

The recommended dosage is two extra strength every 4-6 hours, taking more than that will be over-dosing. Read the instructions carefully, drink plenty of fluids and try to go and get some rest.

You can use the two together, however you need to skulk a couple hours between does.

Tylenol and Ibuprofen are used together all the time for children's fever. The "PM" portion is benadryl and will help sleep and not incentive any ill effects near the ibuprofen

No problem. Do not mix ibuprofen and asprin or naproxen (aleve) as they are all NSAIDs and can impose stomach bleeding. Do not mix acetominophen and any alcohol as that can easily organize to liver damage. As far as tylenol plus 1 other NSAID you should be fine.

Only bring 1 Tylenol p.m. right now. If it doesn't work contained by about an hour run the other one. But, you should make sure you are lying down and not surrounded by a position to hurt yourself by falling or tripping. Drink LOTS of clear liquids. If that doesn't work step to the E.R. so that they can give you something for the nausea that will also aid you sleep, like Compazine or Phenergen (think i spelled that wrong).
