What is 0.5ml on a 100 element syringe?
The syringe is in increments of ten unit going up to 100, need to know as we hold to administer meds to live stock.
Answers: With insulin, 1 ml is equivalent to 100 units. So, 0.5ml would be 50 unit, or halfway on your syringe.
partly of one probably about partially a tenth on one unit of the saringe. :)
syringes are usually measured within cc which is a 1:1 ratio to the mL which are the same.if you can see the measurements on the syringe, and it is surrounded by cc's they are the same. I'm confused. The syringe is clearly tarnished. If you can't figure it out, you shouldn't be administering meds to live stock.
You should probably use a smaller hypodermic.
On a 100 unit syringe, respectively line (marked 10,20,30,etc) indicates 10 ml of fluid.
1.5 would be difficult to test perfectly, because 1.5 is so far from the 1st line(10 ml). And without a doubt no 1.5 line or #!
Try a 50 element or even a 25 unit syringe if you can find one. It will be easier to estimate.
(Unless you simply have to be "close enough" for the animal, goal , not that serious a medication)
