EMS interview...?


Can non - EMS personnel such as a nurse or medical doctor staff an ambulance and run calls? I know that at hand must be at least one medic but I am not sure if the EMT can be replaced by another professional such as an ER nurse or physician. I would cogitate not, since we are working under standing directives by the medical director. I am thinking that you would have to be an EMT along beside whatever other professional milieu to ride out. Just curious as this question be presented to me.
