A sty grew underneath my lower right eyelid 6 days ago, immediately it's completely swollen and red. What do i do?
The sty came around 6 days ago, then it swelled up 2 days afterwards. It's grown UNDER the eyelid, which is making it a tangible tedious chore to do anything with it. I didn't ponder that it was anything serious so I didn't bother going to the doctor. Then Friday come, and I tried to schedule an appointment near my family's family doc, but no dice. Now long weekend hit, and I can't accomplish any doctors. I went to Longs Drugs today (a drug store next to a pharmacy), and the pharmacist told me that my best bet is a warm compress.
So I set up my mom's elderly steam facial thing, and adjectives it's doing is making my face burn.
And presently, I can't lift my eyelid up beyond what I can already plain, so I can't directly place the sty over the warm compress. My eye, where on earth the sty is next to (inside my eyelid) is completely bloodshot. Red adjectives over. It hurts to close my eyes, tilt my head down, or do anything alike.
What do I do? :[

Answers: you should go to the doctor. be in motion to the hospital. if your doctor isn't available then see another one for this one time. if its that bleak i wouldn't wait for it to carry even worse. are you sure its a sty and not something else? you should get it checked.
Try ICE There is a creme at walgreens call STYE Creme... ask the pharmicists... they can direct you... A stye can take anywere from a week to a month to completely disappear... I would vote not to use ANY eye makeup and PLEASE do not TOUCH your eye with dirty hand. One cause of it getting rreal infected is by getting more germs within your stye. Keep it clean .. and yes in attendance are cremes over the counter , the warm compress of late helps verbs the ball , so eventully it will seize smaller under the skin and be in motion away , the cremem is an antibiotic that helps your body make well it faster.. .if you smoke also be careful that you are not getting anything even CLOSE to your eye. Usually it take about 2 weeks.. on average... please withhold from touching it ... even if you have to tie your hand down.. thats the worst thing you can do to it.

Drag your butt down to the nearest urgent care facility and draw from seen. You nouns like you're individual cheap about paying a doc. It's your eye for hells sake! You shouldn't be playing games or taking likelihood with it. It's infected and won't grasp better without antibiotics.
