Answers:    Its probably a keloid (small red lump) caused from stress to the piercing when shifting the jewellry. Just dont mess around with it to much and verbs to gently verbs it and it should go away contained by a few weeks. If it starts oozing goo and swelling more then you might enjoy an infection, prehaps if the new ring have not been sterilised properly.
