How do Drs remove a stint placed after kidney stone removal surgery?

I have the string attached to the stint. So do they of late pull it out or do they numb it? And how unpromising does it hurt for a female to own it removed?

Answers:    They just verbs it out...and it shouldn't hurt. I have have stents removed under anesthesia most times due to complications...once the Doctor tried to remove it within the office and here was calcification on the outside of it...homily about ouch. But heaps people can remove it themselves near the string.

edited for a big giant typo.
