How and why, would a five year old-fashioned girl enjoy a lymph node below her right arm?

she complained of pain. I took her to the doctors and the doctor pressed and mesured the lump and said it be a lymph node. she also presribed an antibiotic.

Answers:    Everyone has lymph nodes there-- they're call "axillary lymph nodes". You only really interest them when they get swollen, which is a sign that the body is aggression an infection. An antibiotic should take keeping of the problem.
Because everyone has lymph nodes below their arms. If hers is swollen, it's a sign of infection. That's why the doctor gave her antibiotics. That's middle-of-the-road at that age. We all enjoy lymph nodes; swelling there is a sign of infection.
Did yo uask the doc why? The lymphs mission isto gather and wipe out infection right? SO it needed some help I guess. Everyone have lymph nodes. As for the issue, why didn't you ask the doc when you were in that?
We all enjoy lymph nodes under our arms. It freshly gets swollen and aching with infection. The antibiotic should comfort her out. You have few lymph nodes on your body, 2 lower than the armpits and 2 in the sides of your nouns. When the body has a doomed to failure infection these lymph nodes swell and become tender. She could have any type of infection, or lymphonitis. Good luck beside it.
from a infection

lymphnodes help filter the body

it could be from a gash that got infected

Everyone have lymph nodes under their arms.

Lymph nodes of the arm
These drain the total of the arm, and are divided into two groups, superficial and deep. The superficial nodes are supplied by lymphatics which are present throughout the arm, but are above all rich on the palm and flexor aspects of the digits.

Superficial lymph glands of the arm:
-supratrochlear glands: Situated above the medial epicondyle of the humerus, medial to the basilic vein, they drain the C7 and C8 dermatomes.
-deltoideopectoral glands: Situated between the pectoralis main and deltoid muscles inferior to the clavicle.
-Deep lymph glands of the arm: These comprise the axillary glands, which are 20-30 individual glands and can be subdivided into:
-lateral glands
-anterior or pectoral glands
-posterior or subscapular glands
-central or intermediate glands
-medial or subclavicular glands
do what the doctor says, we are not trained professionals lymph nodes are to encounter infections. everybody has them around winter.
This is something you should enjoy asked her doctor if you were confused. Everyone have lymph nodes under nearby arms, pelvis, and neck. When a lymph node become swollen and inflammed, it is a sign of an infection. A lymph node is a normal sector of the lymphatic system in your body. You own them all over your body. It is genus of a trash bin for stuff your body is trying to get rid of. Sometimes they can become swollen and sore, sometimes infected. It is those times we distinguish they exist. But, yes, its normal for your daughter to own lymph nodes. Thank God she does, elsewise, she would probably be a very sick child at best.
everyone have lymphnodes. its part of the human body. what he be trying to say is that she have an infection in one of hers, hince the antibiotics. lymphnodes are located within differnt places all over the body. Don't sweat it, she'll be fine. I own noticed this arise when the arm or a limb is sore from other events or during an infection.

The soreness of the limb cause a knot or lump surrounded by the armpit area, within the legs it forms in the groin nouns (corner).

May also be a part of the body growing too.

I am sure adjectives will be well soon.

Good luck.
Lymph nodes are parts of the human body. We adjectives have them, and when they work right and are located correctly, below the arm is one place we all hold them.

It may be an infection or inflammation from a recent cold or other illness. The lymphatic system moves lymph node fluid, spend in dribs and drabs substance, and nutrients through out your body bloodstream and tissues. Lymph nodes filter certain white blood cell, waste, etc from your body. So, if she have a cold or some sort of virus, that could impact it. If they prescribed an antibiotic, then they are address the inflammation as an infection of sorts. If this keeps up you'll want to seize her back to the doc, since it can be indicative of more serious problems...but permit the anitbiotic do it's thing first.
The first answer be the right one. We all own lymph nodes under our arms the lymphatic system is adjectives over our bodies. It acts as a filtration system to rid our body of pollutants. However I do want to recount you to keep an eye on it. If it does not progress away with the treatment, get sure that you get her pay for to the doctor right away. If it doesn't heal near conservative treatment a biopsy may be needed. I am not trying to alarm you, I just want to variety sure that if it does continue that you don't a moment ago say ." it will budge away on it's own"
I am not sure if the Dr told you to use a warm compress to backing with the discomfort and if she isn't allergic to present her Tylenol for the pain as directed on the box or you could also pass Motrin as it is an anti inflammatory med.
I hope that your Princess gets better soon.
New Bacteria Discovery Clears Up Mystery
Identifying a up to date microorganism explains the cause of a serious lymph node infection.
From Alan Cantwell, MD

In a nouns unusual in an era when most disease-causing agents enjoy already been found, elected representatives researchers have identified a alien bacterium that causes a serious lymph node infection surrounded by some patients with suppressed immune systems.

"The discovery of hot bacteria is not unusual, but discovering an organism that causes human bug is certainly unusual," said Dr. Elias A. Zerhouni, director of the National Institutes of Health.

The bacterium has be found in three patients beside chronic granulomatous disease, which affects an estimated one person contained by 250,000. But researchers said the source of at least partly of all infections within such patients could not be identified in days gone by, suggesting that the bacterium could be common contained by this population.

The immunodeficiency disease is caused by a genetic fault in an enzyme call phagocyte NADPH oxidase, which is used in immune cell to generate hydrogen peroxide that kills microbes and fungi.

In July 2003, a 39-year-old man with chronic granulomatous disease be referred to the NIH after three months of unexplainable fever, chills, fatigue and darkness sweats, in add-on to a 10-pound weight loss. Antibiotics did no righteous. Two months later, he experienced throbbing swelling of the lymph nodes in his nouns.

Dr. David E. Greenberg of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and his colleagues biopsied the lymph nodes, which they found to be extensively infected with the unsullied organism, they reported Thursday in the bulletin Public Library of Science Pathogens.

Genetic analysis of the bacterium showed it to be a member of the Acetobacteraceae ancestral, which includes several types of bacteria that are adjectives in the environment and some that are used to build vinegar. No member of the familial has previously be shown to cause human disease, however.

The squad named the latest bacterium Granulobacter bethesdensis in honor of the location of the NIH headquarters contained by Bethesda, Md. They have since found the bacterium contained by two other patients.

So, the girl with the lymph node could hold a serious condition.
