My friend fell through an asbestos roof today, is their a providence he's at risk from poisening/cancer?
Answers: Extremely unlikely.
Fact is he, you, me, have probably be exposed to asbesos without knowing. It take 20 yrs. to develop problems ie; cancer after being exposed. Don't verbs, there are worse things we are adjectives around everyday that you don't even know about. NO, asbestosis take a long period of exposure to inaugurate to show signs. A one time occurrence won't bother him. The ones who are ore at risk are mechanics, roofers who hold been working for masses years and insulation people.
Nope,.. and to Stephen? plumbers also, I lost my dad ending year to asbestosis, it is terrible disease, but it does own to be regular contact.. but.. even though it takes 20 years to diagnose, contact can be anyone that lives surrounded by the household on a regular basis.. doing laundry etc.. your friend have nothing to verbs about, but.. everyone over the age of 40 go to schools next to asbestos in it.
