My roommate get herpes and we share a toilet. Will I stop it?
My roommate just come down with genital hepes and we share a toilet contained by our apartment... I use lysol wipes everytime on the form but I am scared I will take in for questioning it. Should I find a new roommate? Am I at risk?
Answers:
Short answer, no. You can't. Not unless you are have genital to genital sex with them. And don't agree to them know you feel resembling that, it really is expremely hurtful. Herpes is a virus passed by skin to skin contact. It only survives a particularly few seconds outside the body.
The ONLY STD you can seize from a toilet seat it pubic lice (crabs) and even this is REALLY exceptional.

Pour some bleach on the toilet form. That will do it!
It is so super unlikely. The only possible circumstance when you could take in for questioning it is if your roommate used the toilet and the seat be wet. The disease could live for a fundamentally short time in on a showery surface. Then it could theoretically be passed to you. Highly unlikely. Wipes will do merely fine.
No you can't get herpes from sharing a toliet form, come on, ya'll didn't learn anything surrounded by school going on for this stuff.
