I am a lacto-vegetarian diabetic, but can't put away carbs for medical reason. How do I obtain ample nutrition?

I eat solely egg and yoghurt, and am underweight. To me it is ethically unacceptable to steal a life for my survival, and so am powerless to eat meat. Should I force myself to devour meat, waste away to disappearance, or is there any other style out? Would be grateful for any suggestion.

Answer:
I guess I don't understand something here. Whay can't you chomp through good carbs similar to whole grain, fruits, and vegetables? Yogurt and eggs are animal products. Why don't you eat fruits and vegetables?
Wouldn't you win your carbs from the fruit and veges that a vegetarian lives on? Either I am completely misunderstanding what you wrote, or you obligation to do a lot of research on nutrition.
There are plenty of lacto-vegetarian sources of protein, if that's what you're worried about, resembling soy products and legumes.
I think you basically need to do some research. Fast.
Egg is meat... it comes as the babies of chickens... So get through meat (You already do) and eat nuts and salad and fruits and vegetables. Carbs are at the bottom of the food pyramid.
So long as u give somebody a lift good standard high cellulose carbohydrates it is ok. In so far as life is concerned u r taking eggs which can produce life span. They r also non-veg food. I am not advocating that u chomp through meat. Please consult a veg. Doc/Dietician. Westerners cannot help u much.
As a physician I hold a great deal of trouble next to a diabetic vegetarian. A proper diet is impossible. Iron and essental amino acids are missing in vegetables. That sort of diet is immensely foolish regardless of predjudice against killing meat animals.
Actually, lacto-vegetarian diabetics (vegans specifically) tend to be healthier as a integral than omnivore diabetics.

I don't understand why you can't own carbs. If you are underweight, I am going to assume you are a Type 1 diabetic and take insulin.

Type 1 diabetics (unless gaining/over weight) DO NOT want to restrict carbs. Match the amount of carbs you eat near your insulin dose. Simple as that. Meet with a RD or Diabetes Nurse Educator to show you how.

Also, most veggies are more or less low carb. Beans, oatmeal, and legumes are great for stabilizing BG's (low GI) and adding cellulose.

You need to see a Registered Dietitian who is a Certified Diabetes Educator ASAP.
