I know someone that was around dogs technically often and consequently a day ago said " I cannot be around dogs anymore im allergic to them now". I in recent times thought that was grotesque. She is notorius for for over exaggerating and being over dramatic so I thought I would ask.

I'm not quite sure if that can start with dogs, but it happen with my sister near cats. But this happened over two years lacking being inside a house beside a cat living in it. She grew up have a cat, and then a couple years after the cat historic away, we went to my aunt and uncles house who have a lot of cats, and we found out that she be allergic to them. (she is more allergic to dogs though) the doctor said it might be because she grew up being immuned to have a cat, that when she was "re" introduced to the cat, it made her enjoy a reaction from individual away from it for so long. but i'm not sure if that could happen beside a dog over a short period of time similar to that..

yes it can happen. That in reality is a reason why, over exposure to something. I wasn't allergic to latex until the age of 7.
