Are at hand different strains of E. Coli?

Yesterday I saw a sign posted at the lake that it have tested positive for E. Coli. It said swim at your own risk, do not ingest, shower after swimming, wash hand before consumption, and do not swim if ill. They still tolerate people swim though. How could they permit people swim if something approaching E. Coli is in the river? Is it possibly a different strain than the one that was adjectives over the spinach earlier this year? I want to budge swimming today, but is it safe?

Answers:
It is interesting that they still allow family to swim in the pond. The presence of E. coli in the hose down is indicative of fecal contamination. The fecal contamination source could be human or animal, but still poses danger regardless of the threat.

Yes at hand are many different strain of E. coli. The spinach associated strain be E. coli O157:H7. It may or may not be in the tarn. I can bet that if they had found O157:H7 surrounded by the lake, it would be closed down fast. Since the lake is still start, this leads me to believe that O157:H7 be not isolated. This doesn't mean that you won't catch sick by swimming in the water. Other strains of E. coli can still make you sick. Also, if the lagoon was contaminated near fecal material, near are a host of other bacteria and virus that could make you sick. I would recomend that you do not stir swimming in the mere.
Whereas there are different strains of E. coli microbes, you should wait until that pond has an "adjectives clear" before swimming contained by it. Why take the unsystematic?

There are some strains that we host naturally within our own digestive system. If there is a sign up at a mere then they are restrictive you that it is a strain that may cause trouble for you.
