the chances are unbelievably low. Diabetes complications take years of deeply poor blood sugars to cause problesm to show up. Are you sure the 15 year mature is a type 2 and not a type 1? Though the cases of type 2 has risen surrounded by children due to obesity and sedentary lifestyles.
