Is this a serious infection?

I recently cut myself shaving, I did not treat it save for try to keep it verbs. I did not allow it to heal properly, and in a minute there seem to be a lump under the nouns where the cut be. The area have become larger and is very sensitive, it doesnt hurt too much but I can definatly perceive it there, on the surface the skin have healed but the nouns is red. Should I be concerned with this? I only just started applying polysporin to the area but it doesnt give the impression of being to be doing anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Answers:    This is your body's pure reaction...its not that serious! If you wanna hasten the process a oral antibiotic such as tetracycline could relief (RX only).

1) The area is sore, prickly

2) The area "heals"

3) White blood cell invade the area and form pus

4) It will smoothly drain
ive never heard of something resembling this before. perchance you should get it checked out next to a dermatologist dont put polysporin on it now it will aggrivate it.. grasp it checked out by a doctor asap.. in could catch seriously infected... bad.
lol, i can pretty much guarantee that it heal up a lil strangely and you now hold.. AN INGROWN HAIR! ha, so this is where the fun starts, you are going to hold to dig it out. or you can repay a dr. to do it, myself, i would sterilize some tweezers and a pocket knife and turn to town, your choice, go at it immensely slowly and gently and it won't even hurt, don't jump for the sharpest knife contained by the collection, be methodical and clean... alcohol, H2O2, and follow it up next to some polysporin. Have fun!
