Is there an over the counter cure for psoriasis? I aversion steroids. Nothing my dermatologist gives me works, I perceive like she's experimenting on me...Please support. Thank you.

Answers:    Psoriasis is difficult to treat and most OTC products just do not work. FIrst of adjectives, after a shower or bath, be sure you use a moisturizer because hot river will cause your psoriasis to achieve worse. While you may not want to use a steroid, it may be the only entry that will work for you. Try OTC hydrocortisone cream. This is OK to use for awhile. If it helps, consent to your doctor know. They can prescribe a stronger strength than what you can get OTC. I've have psoriasis for years, and it is so frustrating. Also, sometimes sunlight for a short time (15 min.) once a sunshine can help also. Good luck.
