Answers:
Yes you could have given it to her.
If you be infected at the time of birth even with no symptoms or cold sores present. Or by kissing if you enjoy oral herpes (even without cold sores outbreaks is posible to transmit the virus). You could own the virus also in your saliva minus knowing it.

"Some people do not take typical blister-like sores but harbor active virus surrounded by their saliva, vaginal, or penile secretions, and can shed the virus short knowing they have herpes."

But dance to a Doctor, babies can't fight the infection and could hold serious complications so is importat to take acction. Besides perchance it's not even herpes but you will never know unless you take her to do some test.
I doubt you gave it to her. HSV 2 is USUALLY confined to the genitals. If this is the overnight case with you, that you enjoy genital herpes that is, later the answer is a resounding NO, you could not have given it to her. However, if you hold cold sores, yeah, you could have. Also within is a slight chance she could own been born next to it if you had HSV when you give birth to her--this is very occasional though, and I'm sure your doctor would have shared this beside you. If it doesn't clear up in a few days or she complains almost it a lot, steal her to the doctor.
HSV2 tend to stay in the genital nouns. you might not have given to her; she might hold gotten it from someone else who's having HSV1 (cold sore) when they kiss her or sharing utensil near her, even if they don't have an outbreak at the time
