yes there is. i feel the same when i have to have a mastectomy. however i hastily realised that having your life span is the most precious thing. anyone who is fully clad will love u whatever. my daughter have bad crohns and have had 2 principal bowel resections she still suffers terribly and is seriously considering a colostomy as it would see her to actually live a average life compared to in a minute. good luck.

Yes. I had a colostomy a few years ago, right previously my birthday. Thought I had no indiscriminate for a normal life span, felt close to a freak. Most absolutely!! AS a doctor my feeling is that If the so call PATIENT has a will to disagree the problem Then he/she can definitely hold a life. Its close to fighting a period of war!! No one goes into clash hoping to loose it!!
There can be life after anything that let you come out breathing Erica. It depends on attitude. If your surgery has be recent it not unusual for patients to be on a downer. Chet to your family and friends they should be impassioned to help. If you are still struggling try and find a support group, at hand is one for most conditions, or try and get some counselling locally.
Yes nearby is and it also depends on your thinking. The more positive you are, the better the outcome. The more negative you are, the not so appropriate outcome is ready for you. Change your diet and try to comfort yourself and clasp hold of life beside two hands.
