I be only just diagnosed next to a phlebitis-like disease.?
Phlebitis-like because it's either that or some form of cellulitis. It begin with a cramp at the joint between my pinky finger and subsequent to last finger after I finished nail some boards together. It's located on the palm side of my hand (of adjectives places and, again, between my pinky and next-to-last finger). I've outline the reddened areas: the common area itself and the course it's taking down the superficial vein in my arm -- this have increased about 1/2 an inch). I've be on Keflex b.i.d. for two days now and it doesn't seem to be to be improving (more swollen this AM than ever & I'm incompetent to make a solid fist short it hurting really bad). Questions: should I switch to Levaquin? Is there a hit and miss that it will have to be drained? What could hold caused this to come up? I get "sick" perchance once every two to three years (be it viral or other). Otherwise, I've been fortunate to remain stout. I'm in my mid-30s. Any give support to is appreciated.

Your doctor should be prescribing your medicine. Ask him tomorrow morning or if it is so desperate you can't stand it, go to the ER today. You can't ask a forum approaching this about whether you should switch meds. We don't know you and can't prescribe for you, even if we hold MD after our name.
