Stage 4 liver and lung cancer, any one enjoy any concept how long a individual might live?
My grandmother went into the hospital a couple weeks ago next to confusion and incoherent behavior, they found her electrolites were low, and have to raise them slowly.
She come back into her right mind, and during the test they did in that time they found she have cancer in her liver and lungs.
Tonight she go back into the hospital (after man home 2 days) far more confused and much more violently incoherent than beforehand. I am assuming this is because her electrolites must be low again. (I dont know why or how they could drop so fast). The doctors have told us she have stage 4 cancer, and basucally to just save her comfortable until she passes.
Theyre doing more test to find out how long that will be, but does anyone have any perception? The thought of her wasting away for months is horrid, even weeks in this state is more than i can pedal.
People should just lay down and die. This wasting away crap is bullshit.

I'm sorry just about your grandmother. I knew someone who have lung cancer and was person treated fairly successfully for that. However, it spread to her liver. She died inwardly 1 month of finding out. It was massively, very fast. Again, I'm sorry .
probably 3 months some people live shorter and some live longer but probably the best assessment from webmd.com or google to find out.
i'm sorry you have to operate with such things...my mother have bone/breast cancer and lasted 6 months...but the dr she have gave her too much carbon dioxide when she go into a coma and died after 2 days of being hospitalized...her coma last about 18 hrs...we never want a loved one to suffer, so pray for salutary or a quick endorsement...just know you're not alone...i agree next to you saying relations should just lay down and die...my grandpa died that method and i've dreamed of doing just that since i be 9 when he died...
My father died within a month of anyone told, and it wasn,t quick ample he suffered something terrible within that month. And we as a family suffered every minute of his anguish with him.
Just try not to benchmark the time she has not here. It could only be hours. My friends grandmother have the same piece. She found out June 15 and I'm sorry but she didn't even make it to the 4th of July! Enjoy the time you enjoy and make sure you bring her final things in direct. Make all her dreams come true! Don't dwell on the sickness but the peace she will be at when it is over!
My father have liver cancer and lung cancer. He lived 3 months after diagnosis. He couldn't eat and be in dull pain. He wasted away to skin and bone. He be in a rest home and get bed sores (you're supposed to roll them over every 2 hours to prevent these sores which can become infected). Rolling him over was bumpy. Do not put your loved ones in a nursing home if it can be avoided. I would own liked for the doctor to minister to his death along. I see no adjectives purpose in suffering and I don't believe within a merciful God letting 86 year olds suffer.
I know it hard for you loose some one you love and Im sorry for your Grandmother but when it get to your liver they usally dont last drastically long.
stage 4 is the worse. so sorry you all enjoy to go through this. my dad died of cancer. its like mad like Dr say. somedays will be good some fruitless and you can get hospice to assist out.. good luck

. She apparently doesn't want to cause you any more affliction than you're having presently, she doesn't want any treatment that will give her a bit longer. Why is it noteworthy to find out from tests how much longer she will be beside you? She's here now, I wonder if she really desires to know for how long?
