Answers:    Hi there. Check out the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) website at http://www.jdrf.org and also http://www.childrenwithdiabes.com

There is a connection to get a "Wizdom Kit" through the JDRF site that will back the child, parents, and teachers. It have some booklets and stress balls, games, etc...really cool and assured to understand for kids.

Both sites proposal a lot of honourable information and links to other sites that are child friendly as well.

I infer it's great you are helping out your friend! She will need like mad of support along with her child.

Take diligence

From there, nearby are some links to information on all the types of diabetes! :)
kidshealth is well brought-up but i would reccommend you being referred to a diabetes troop who will not only monitor the child but will make available you good acurate up to date guidance and they will put your friends mind at ease! The internet can be a touch dodgy! Good site. Don't forget books too! Fifty-50.com and Amazon has books for varying ages on diabetes. If your child is a teen, websites might be the mode to go, but for adjectives kids, and certainly little tykes, books are recommended.
whish I could lend a hand you Delly but dont know any websites www.Joslin.org
