Alright, I may have contracted HSV-1 genital herpes from a ******* given by my girlfriend who have a cold sore at the time. I did not know that it could spread that way beforehand; very soon I'm paying for that (it is pretty ridiculous that out of all the HOURS AND HOURS of sex-ed bullshit they threw at you surrounded by high academy, they not once mentioned something like this.) Basically, a extraordinarily small ingrown hair-like mark appeared any the day of, the morning after or two days after the oral sex in give somebody the third degree. I can't remember and I didn't think much of it at the time. It's presently more of a flattened out and somewhat blistered looking area, just about the size of a pea. I'm pretty sure that it stopped hurting. It has immediately been 6 days since the event which may hold spread HSV-1 and I did wake up next to some general itching contained by the area. This might be because I'm over-washing the hell out of it and hence drying it out, or it might be a symptom. I have have no flu like symptoms and there's one possible sore.

HSV 1 and HSV 2 might be almost identical, but it's still different, hence the word almost, both virus rest in your nerves, which is what cause the outbreak, but can you prove to me these viruses are other mild. what i'm trying to get at is, the likelihood of you catching HSV is very low, and if you be to catch it most plausible you would know it, everybody says you might not know, or the symptoms are mild, but it's not probable, please remember that hsv-1 is a common disease over 50% of americans enjoy, they've developed it as a child, and get 1 or 2 cold sores every once within awhile.

You can go to your doctor for a blood try-out. I am not sure what it is called because I haven't gotten it, but it roughly tells you how long the virus have actually be in your system. I'm not sure how long it take for results to come back, though.

They can clutch a biopsy of the area to try-out. If you are not on Valtrex of another anti-viral medication for herpes, you should do so immediately. I have a sneaking suspicion that they give you a strong dose for 5-10 days and after you take it for the rest of your time.


Just remember not to have any sexual contact while you own an outbreak..it can actually aggravate the outbreak AND infect anyone you are intimate beside.
