The BEST (and cheapest) way to prevent scar on cuts and burns:

Once the skin has closed (no longer unseal, bleeding, oozing) you go to the store and buy a stick of pure cocoa butter. Every drug store/grocery store pharmacy subdivision carries them. They cost just about $1.25. You take that stick of pure cocoa butter and you rub it on the cut/burn several times a time. The more you do it, the better your skin will look and no scar will form. It have to be a stick of pure cocoa butter. Lotion that contains cocoa butter will NOT work.
Momma-----you were right.

*Those store bought "mutilation prevention" patches----they don't work. They are very expensive and cocoa butter works 200% better. Don't lavish your money on those patches.
